While I agree with every post that has come about lately, I want to say that in some applications, "Murdering Out" a car can look good. Like this patriot:
I dont think it looks too bad, do you?

It doesn't look any worse than a patriot normally does.
My issue is tinted tails. So dangerous

I don't hate it. I just shudder at how hard that thing would be to keep clean.

I think blacking out taillights should be illegal. I've seen some chevy trucks notch out the cover and keep the brake light unblocked, but still many people keep the reverse lamp blocked, another safety problem.

I've been hatin on blacked out cars for years, and will continue to do so. Shit is just unoriginal and imo looks bad in almost all applications.

I used to own a 2008 Subaru Legacy 2.5i that I 'murdered out'. Then, I realized I was no longer 16, so I sold it.

I had a WJ Grand Cherokee until my wife ran it two weeks without oil in it and killed it. It was awesome - black on black, with 15% tint and blacked out headlights from a Laredo model. I like the murdered out look to a point, but some do go too far.

Blacked out tail lights should not be legal.

She ran it without oil? I would have divorced her right there. But ya, if its done right, I kinda like it. The problem is most people that do this sort of thing dont know when to stop.

If they're tinted but not too dark, then fine; If they've been dipped/spray painted, I hope you get rear-ended(not specifically you, I mean the people that do that), because no one can see that.

100% agree. Dipping/painting them is incredibly dumb

Tinted tail lights aren't too bad if done right, and if the original tails are LED. They are still able to shine through without any problem. However, spray painting your housings or anything half-assed like that is just asking to be hit.
I posted the S8 seen in Michigan, but for the record: I don't hate all murdered out cars, but I disagree taking a beautiful monster like an S8 and making it look like it belongs in Fast & The Furious 27.

I hated that S8. But I just wanted to balance out the hate with a good example of Murdered out cars

I don't particularly like it.
I like the fishbowl look rather than tinted windows. Tinted lenses are alright, if they have bright led bulbs so people can see you.
I absolutely HATE it when people paint over chrome.
